To report a lost or stolen VISA credit card: Call (800) 991-4961 or contact the 24-hour automated attendant at (800) 991-4982. If you immediately report the loss or theft of your VISA credit card, your liability for unauthorized transactions could be $0. Please contact us immediately if you believe your card is missing. Best practice: Make a photocopy of all of the information in your wallet, and keep it in an easily accessible safe place. Be sure to photocopy the back sides of cards — they often contain information for reporting lost or stolen cards, or disputed transactions.
Received a call about possible fraudulent activity from Falcon? We use the Falcon security system to verify transactions on your VISA credit card when the transaction appears fraudulent in any way, based on generic patterns of activity for transactions which were determined to be fraudulent. If you receive a call from Falcon, you may choose to call them back instead of responding immediately to their verification questions. If you wish to phone Falcon, please call them at (800) 437-9392.
Received an unexpected declined tranasction on your VISA credit card? (Oct. 31, 2008) We have had many fraudulent charges this week on VISA credit cards. VISA is investigating the source of the fraud, and we hope to have some answers soon. Until then, we have had to impose limits on transactions at certain merchants in order to limit these fraudulent transactions.
Unfortunately, these limits will likely cause some members to be declined on valid transactions. If this affects you, we apologize for the inconvenience; please phone us at (888) 817-2002 so that we can re-activate your card to allow the transaction to go through. You should also know that transactions at similar merchants will be limited to $299.00 per day until this issue is resolved, but that should not be very long.
These limits will be removed as soon as the source of the fraud is determined and the affected cards are blocked. We understand the inconvenience and embarrassment this causes when your transaction is declined, and are actively working toward locating the source(s) of this new fraud and reinstating the blocked cards. Until then, we will work with you any way we can to minimize your inconvenience. Thank you for your cooperation.
