Online New Accounts Desk

Ready to open your account, but don't have time to visit one of our offices? Our online account opening & funding system can help you set up your account and make your opening deposit from the convenience of your keyboard.

This system is available for you if:

  • You are 19 or older and have a credit history; and
  • You are a U.S. citizen and reside in the United States; and
  • You are able to confirm your identity by correctly answering questions that are specific to your financial accounts; or
  • You are an existing member in good standing and would like to open additional deposit account(s) at Alabama Credit Union, such as checking, CDs, etc.

If you are unable to meet the qualifications above, you're invited to phone or visit us to discuss opening your new account.

To begin, please gather the following:

  1. Valid photo ID (such as driver license) for yourself and the person (if any) you choose to have as a joint owner on your account(s);
  2. Credit or debit card, or financial account, information that will be used to fund your new account;
  3. Pen and paper for making notes.

You'll be asked to print your account signature card(s), and after they are signed, provide them to us along with notarized copies of the photo IDs. If any questions, call our Member Care Center at (888) 817-2002. Thanks for your interest in joining Alabama Credit Union!
