We make skipping your loan payment easy.

Quick & Easy Way to Skip

Save time and money by skipping your loan payment online without having to drive to your local branch. Skip-A-Pay allows you to skip your Alabama Credit Union auto or consumer loan payment every six months, so you can keep the cash for other goals. 

Get Started Online 

You're eligible to skip your auto or consumer loan payment if: 

  • You have had an open loan for at least 6 months
  • Have not skipped or deferred more than two Alabama Credit Union loan payments in the past 12 months
  • Your loan, checking, and savings accounts are in good standing
  • Have no history of late payments at Alabama Credit Union

A deferral fee of $35 will be applied to each skipped loan payment.

Disclosure

To qualify for this offer, your Alabama Credit Union membership must be in good standing, the loan must be open for at least six months, and you have not skipped or deferred more than two loan payments in the past 12 months. This offer is exclusive for auto loans, RV loans, motorcycle loans, personal loans, and shared secured loans. Mortgage loans, home equity loans, and credit card loans are not eligible for payment deferment. This offer is subject to change and excludes any loan in which the first payment has yet to be made.

If you skip your November or December loan payment, a $35 deferral fee will apply. If you skip your loan payment, interest will continue to accrue on your loan, and the term will be extended. If applicable, skipping your auto loan payment may affect guaranteed asset protection (GAP) payout. Loans with collateral protection insurance do not qualify for the Skip-a-Pay promotion.

Alabama Credit Union is NOT responsible for adjusting the member’s payment schedule. The member is responsible for rescheduling the dates for all ACH and other automatic bill payments that they have set. Other restrictions may apply.
